Being Me
They said you are too well dressed for the occasion
That costly dress and those expensive accessories. Isn't everything about you money
You are just lucky your parents are rich they said
But you never earned these things with that brain of your's
I said I got a flat band and it's inheritance of gain
I also inherited their brains
They said you don't travel much
I told them I have seen a bit of world too
But I keep returning back to my roots
And they laughed at me and said that
I am in my comfort zone
I lost my cool and laughed back
Look at you I told them
Stop showering me with free opinions and advises
Go get a life
